As gifted burrowers chipmunks are capable of doing a lot of damage in yards and around houses.

Use caulk expandable construction foam or concrete to cover any cracks or holes that you see on the outside of your house. These stupid little things get into everything. A rodent as is a rat or a mouse. This is messier than acrylic latex but effective. Seal small cracks and gaps in your siding under 1 4 inch wide using an acrylic latex caulk. Humane traps catch chipmunks without killing them so you can then resettle them miles away from your property.

They ruin expensive landscaping uproot garden plants and even make their way under retaining walls home foundations and decks.
